Low-slope roofing is designed for roofs with a shallow pitch, typically found on commercial buildings and some residential structures. These roofing systems prioritize waterproofing and durability due to their minimal slope.

Common Low-Slope Roofing Materials:

Modified Bitumen: A multi-layer asphalt-based roofing system reinforced with fiberglass or polyester for flexibility and strength. It’s durable, resistant to extreme weather, and can be applied via torch-down, cold adhesive, or self-adhering sheets.

TPO: A single-ply membrane known for its energy efficiency, UV resistance, and heat-welded seams that provide excellent waterproofing. It’s lightweight, durable, and widely used in commercial applications.

EPDM: A rubber-based single-ply membrane known for its longevity (30+ years), flexibility, and resistance to UV rays and extreme temperatures. It’s commonly used on commercial buildings and can be installed fully adhered, mechanically fastened, or ballasted.
